Sky-Camel

The sun abandoned his world to darkness, a spiralling abyss of virtual emptiness devoid of even the remotest light. As he quietly and gradually surrendered his soul to that dark pit of hopelessness, his innate self nudges him to peek outside for a final time in a foolish attempt to catch a glimpse of the legendary Sky-Camel (Awrkii Ciirka); his sure-fire solution to all his problems — so he desperately thought. As he apathetically gazed outside, silently thinking to himself that this time is no different than the countless other times; suddenly the timing magically synced with the precise moment of the breaking sun turning the sky from the dark of night into the bright of early morning.

The gorgeous work of God being displayed in a magnificent fashion. His eyes instantly connected with the look of love, and it daringly and unconditionally looked back. They shared a flawless unity in that honest gaze. In that precise second, he found his Sky-Camel; for she was a new day rising, the pinpoint silver of the stars at night, the first flower of spring on a clear blue sky, the last leaf of autumn, the savage sea and towering cliff. His new-found love was a raw heart-stopping beauty, more transporting than the ecstasies of nature and more thrilling than the edge of a sea cliff or the release of passion. He found his rightly-deserved Gift — a gift from the All-Mighty (Al-Caziiz).

Some aspects inspired from the classic: Awrkii Circka (Khadra Daahir)
